Today I am hoping to get back in the studio. The amount of housework needed to be done when you return from a trip is insane! Laundry, grocery shopping, bathing the dogs…etc etc.
Today I am hoping I can sneak away into my own little world and make some things!
Before I left I bought this lot of fabric. I forgot! It was a nice surprise to come home to! I just love the light pastels.
I am wanting to get these two projects finished. I appliqued the shoe and silhouette on them before we left. They are throw pillows.
I am crossing my fingers that I am productive today

I know! Everytime I go grocery shopping I’m thinking what a job it is…then I tell myself to think about people a long time ago…having to hunt and kill LOL thei meat, skin it, slice it dice it…not to mention vegetables, milk, AND make quilts and candles. Good grief if I had lived back then I guess my kids would have died. I would have never gotten it all done!

Love the new fabrics – hope the new projects are coming along well. I have just been away for 10 days and am wading through all the laundry etc before I get to play in the sewing room – can’t wait!
