Still quit chilly here, I am hoping to get a little warmer weather soon. The daffodils are sprouting up in the front flower bed. I am so excited for spring! Bare feet, gardening, and lemonade ¬†woohoo I can’t wait! I just love spring. I am really looking forward to when I can open the french doors in the dining room and enjoy my morning blog surf/cup of coffee with the spring breeze blowing in. For now I settle for bundled up in my robe with my hello kitty slippers and staring out the window while hugging my coffee cup and blog surfing.

While doing this, and fending off Miss Salem (my loving adorable cat) from sticking her head in my cup or in front of my monitor, I saw a cute little camera case. I have always wanted to try one out but never got around to doing it. Until today. Here was my first go, there are a few things I am going to modify but for starters I think it’s a keeper.

I am going to mess with my pattern a bit and tweek some things. But all in all I think my on the go camera has a cozy new little case.

I have been so busy lately that blogging kind of went on the back burner. Not that I had a lack of anything going on. I finally finished school, scheduled my state board, took it and passed!! woohoo!

Got some time now that school is over to spend in my studio making items for the etsy store and the salon.

I am in love with making these felted flowers. They are so fun! plus they give something to use my long neglected seed beads on. The only thing is that I have been cutting out the flowers by hand, which is fine. But is very hard for me to get really detailed flowers when I have to cut them out by hand. I am keeping an eye out for one of the big shot die cutters to see if those will work to cut out the felt.

Thought I would share this as well, since I am done with school and waiting to get the salon open I have some spare time on my hands. I got a wild idea one day and decided to groom my dogs. Um dogs are a little different that people. I don’t think she is very happy with me, although I think she looks pretty good.
