I can’t believe I actually finished something! I didn’t get any of the throw pillows done, or get to play with my fabric. But I do however get one of my topiaries done! I have also been adding a whole bunch of stuff to my shop!

Today I am hoping to get back in the studio. The amount of housework needed to be done when you return from a trip is insane! Laundry, grocery shopping, bathing the dogs…etc etc.

Today I am hoping I can sneak away into my own little world and make some things! 

Before I left I bought this lot of fabric. I forgot! It was a nice surprise to come home to! I just love the light pastels. 

I am wanting to get these two projects finished. I appliqued the shoe and silhouette on them before we left. They are throw pillows. 

I am crossing my fingers that I am productive today

Home at last. You never sleep in your bed like you do when you just return from a long trip. I think I was out before my head it the pillow! Or maybe before I even hit the bed hahahah. 

One of my favorite things about going on a trip is returning home to check the mail. I LOVE getting mail, not bills though! 

Of course while I was away one of my favorite magazines came, Victorian Trading Co. I just love to drool over every page! It is seriously like chocolate for me.

This is my very favorite! I will be ordering this for sure. This is one of those items I would love to have in every room. It goes with my whole blending of reality and fantasy, it encourages your imagination and I LOVE that!

Traveling really takes it out of you. I am soo sleepy! We our flying from Champaign to Chicago, Chicago to Seattle, Seattle to East Wenatchee. Ugh, it’s exhausting just saying it!

This is exactly how I feel!

I had a wonderful trip, but I can’t wait to get back into my studio! I have so many ideas I want to play around with!

I am supposed to write about 5 things I am addicted too… only 5? Hmmmm…

1. I am addicted to the internet period. I love blog surfing, flickr surfing, shopping, reading, anything. I love the internet! Blogging especially!

2. Chocolate. I am 100% totally and completely addicted to chocolate. I allow myself a tiny morsel each day but for those days I am weak willed I have to make Jason hide it from me!

3. Movies. I love movies that fuel my imagination like Harry Potter, All of Jane Austens book that are now movies, the Lion the Witch and the Wardrobe, Twilight, Charlie and the Chocolate factory, you’ve got mail I could keep going forever. 

4. Decreating. Yes Decreating. I love to create and decorate everything! It is in my blood, I just love to do it! I am truly addicted!

5. Make-up. I love to go without make-up just as much, but I am addicted to MAC make-up. I just love all the colors and textures. I enjoy the whole process of getting dressed up and doing my make-up. It’s so much fun!

Ok there is my list, it was much longer but I had to limit myself to 5. 

I am going to stick with Michelle on this one and say that all of your blogs are amazing! So instead of picking just 5 blogs I am going to pass this award on to all of you. Take this award and post it on your blog. I want to get to know each and everyone of you!

Here is the second set of photos of projects/things around the studio..

I am flying off this morning out of Wenatchee over to Seattle. Then Wednesday morning at 4am we leave from Seattle to Illinois! 

I will post pictures during our trip, I hope you all have a wonderful week. I really hope to post more baby pictures soon! Everyone is so busy loving all over him they are forgetting to send me pictures! Humph! I guess I will just have to do myself. Ok maybe Jason will have to take the pictures, I am sure I will be to busy loving all over him too hehe. 

Yes I am a Harry Potter addict. There I said it! This is my “platform 9 3/4 clock” I have it in my studio. In my studio I try to create an area that blends the real and make believe of everything I love. It helps to fuel my creativity and adds uniqueness to my space. This is one of my favorite things in my studio.

This is Roselynn, my studio helper. (she was a xmas gift)  Her application said she did cleaning and I have yet to see any of that done hehehe

Whenever my Grandmother came across a button she used to always say “button button who’s got the button.” I love buying old button collections, they remind me of her.
