These “vintage queen” pendants are part of a custom order I just finished. I think they turned out nice. So nice in fact that I had to make something for myself. I just bought this great scalloped copper foil and wanted to give it a try. Oh I love it!

Ok maybe I also made me one because I am procrastinating a little bit… not really, ok maybe a little… a teensy little bit.

Today is day one of me getting ready for the festival. This is my very first one and I am so nervous! Not only do I not know where to start, but I have no idea what to expect either! I am hoping that I look calm and collected on the outside and none of the feelings that are similar to sticking your fingers in a wall socket are showing through. If they are… well.. just don’t tell me.

I just wanted to give an update, I am still here. We arrived at our new home in East Wenatchee last thursday and have been going full steam since. We have only a few boxes left to unpack and my studio is almost done! I am taking the weekend to finish unpacking and getting things organized. Starting Monday my nose is to the grind stone, I have to get ready for the festival on Sept 20th.

It is so beautiful here. I have to pinch myself. I used to dream about the mountains and think of what it was like when we lived here, but now I get to see it for myself. It is so much more beautiful than I remember. I will post pictures soon.

No more internet at this house. We have to return the modem this morning. Today is our last day of loading the truck. We managed to get most of the house loaded in yesterday! Today is mainly getting the rest of it in there and doing a clean sweep of the house. Jason is taking me out to breakfast today and then we are stopping by the bookstore to get my reserved copy of Breaking Dawn! I can’t wait. Tomorrow we hit the road. We will make it all the way to Mitchell, South Dakota. We should arrive in Washington on Tuesday evening. I look forward to posting from our new home in Washington, see you soon!
